Catalogs

I've been designing catalogs for Herff Jones for over 7 years, and have made as many as 10 variants of a 40-70 page catalog in a given year. I own the process from start to finish, working from style experiments and cover options, through coordinating product assortments and details with product managers, to final reviews for accuracy and the creation of press-ready files.

Emails

The backbone of digital sales for most companies, emails are a must in ecommerce. Whether it's for a sales push or automated cart abandonment, I can help you put together emails that catch the attention of customers and drive sales.

Socials

Catching the attention of a customer in the midst of the constant scroll is difficult, but whatever your idea or product, I can work with you to create graphics that will generate both views & sales.

Image Retouching

Sometimes a photo doesn't turn out quite right and there's no time to reshoot. Sometimes a product changes after the prototype and you have to scramble. Photo retouching can save hours of work and significant expense, and I have years of experience retouching models, products, and compositing images together for new use cases.

Dave Eisinger

Hello, I'm Dave, and I've been a full-time graphic designer for over a dozen years now. I first worked for Gannett, the owner of the newspaper USA Today, creating ads in a fast-paced production environment that valued accuracy and required dealing with many different brands each day. I next worked for Herff Jones, an American manufacturer of graduation products, from caps & gowns to class rings, from apparel to diplomas & fine paper products. I worked for HJ for over 10 years, and they still remain my biggest client at DCD.

Over the years, I've designed many variants of HJ's annual catalogs, managed photoshoots and retouched the results, worked on day-to-day designs of email blasts, social graphics, flyers, posters, brochures, newspaper & magazine ads, and more. I've also managed brand adherence for third-party designs, drawn up complete brand standards, consulted on best practices for Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms, and implemented new workflows and template setups for creative teams. I also managed a small team of designers at HJ for a couple years.
